I believe a “business consultant” needs to identify with the employing company very clear goals and measurements to be attained as part of the consulting engagement. Many consultants look to imbed themselves into their clients business for very long periods of time, often indefinitely. This is not my consulting objective, I consider myself a “teaching” consultant. My goal is to help my clients and their organizations to grow intellectually and real competence.
